Another Blog? Really?

Yes. This is more to keep me encourage to finish my READING CHALLENGE. Oh yes. A reading challenge.
I know, I know, lots of people find reading a total bore. I, however, believe there is a book for everyone, and I have decided to show the world how great books can really be. My friend Bailie inspired me to do this, in her pursuit of breaking the world hula hoop record. (88 hours nonstop- how does one do bathroom breaks? I'd rather not know.) So, before I embark on this mystical journey, let me first illustrate to you what I am actually doing.

The Challenge
My goal is to read 180 books by my eighteenth birthday, July 20, 2011. This seems like a tremendous amount, but I like a challenge. I read fast. I think I can do it. If I fail,  (which I refuse to believe I will) all I'm letting down is myself. But I won't. The reward is too sweet.

The Reward
Everyone works better if there is a end goal in mind. So, every eighteen books, I will actually buy myself a book, whichever one I like the best out of the previous books I have read. That's ten new books by the end of this journey, so I think that is a sweet deal. Along the way, I'm going to save up, and if I complete my goal, get myself a NOOK OR KINDLE! Perfect for dorm life. :)
The Rules
  1. It can't be a book I have already read. Sorry, Harry, but reading you won't count.
  2. I have to blog about each book I have read. This is just merely to keep me accountable, and ensure I am actually reading the book.

Ok, that seems silly. Only two rules, and I'm playing against myself. Anyone can be apart though! That would be so fun! I hope you like my book reviews. Hopefully along the way, you'll find the book for you.
